Experimental Investigation of Mechanical and Durability Properties of Concrete Containing Nano Silica, Alccofine and Polypropylene Fibers

Objectives: To evaluate the strength and durability behaviour of concrete specimens that have been reinforced with micro reinforcements made polypropylene fibers microfillers nanofillers such as alccofine nanosilica, respectively. Methods: The samples were to achieve a targeted 33 MPa. In this experiment, added mix in volume fractions 0%, 1%, 0.2%, 0.3%, 0.4%, optimum percentages (15%) nanosilica (1%). Concrete mixes without PP evaluated for their mechanical properties, compressive strength, elastic modulus, flexural also looked at several characteristics, including acid resistance, porosity, sorptivity, water absorption. proper instrumentation has used make measurements related experimental parameters. Findings: After introduction Alccofine, Nanosilica, Polypropylene fibers, following properties improved: elasticity absorption, resistance. Adding increased cubes cylinders by up 15.15 14.87 percent, It 10.47% modulus 14.35%. Novelty: novel material, comprising significantly enhances characteristics concrete, enabling avoid brittle rapid failure instead experience more ductile serviceability concrete.
